How to manage projects

Any project consists of some basic stages, and therefore its successful management lies in mastering these stages to the fullest, and the following are steps that can be followed to help implement the project steps correctly: 




  • Define the project to see to which domain it belongs.
  • Determining the available resources for the project, such as manpower, equipment, and others.
  • Develop a project schedule including the time of its delivery.
  • Getting to know the team implementing the project and having a dialogue with them in order to be able to manage them.
  • Determine all project details in advance to try to avoid surprises during implementation.
  • Develop a preliminary plan for the course of work and tasks for the project.
  • Create a basic plan based on the initial plan and include the schedule and the tasks it contains.
  • Amending the project, especially if there is a lack of resources or unrealistic tasks.
  • Project execution.
  • Monitor implementation to ensure that work is progressing according to plan.
  • Documentation of work.
  • Keeping everyone informed of current events, especially project owners.


Project management concept

The term project management expresses the processes of organizing and planning to exploit the resources available to the company or organization, such as human, financial, technological and other resources, in order to carry out tasks or ensure the smooth progress of work 


Project management stages

Project management is based on skills and knowledge at all stages of the project. The project consists of five basic stages, starting with an idea and ending with project delivery, as follows: 

  • Project start-up and preparation.
  • Planning the project in all its details.
  • Implementation of the project with the application of skills and knowledge, using all available resources.
  • Monitoring the project workflow, to ensure that the tasks are implemented according to the previously prepared plan and schedule.
  • Project delivery.
